Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student at Northwestern University. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before attempting TV and movie parts. Anna's first major part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. She also guest-starred on the show. played in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. It was only in the latter part of 1990 when she was cast in a role in The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years during Deadwood's 2nd season. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional work. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, which is a four part audio podcast that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual demise mirror the last few years that were the life of Walter White.
